Life is full of uncertainties. The woes of today can make us worry about tomorrow to the extent that we forget to live today to its maximum.
There are two days we have no control over; yesterday and tomorrow. Given the opportunity, a lot of us would go back in time to make amends and change yesterday, which we all know is next to impossibility(unless the time travel technology becomes a reality). We all actually have today to take decisions to correct some of the actions and inactions of the past that we're not proud of.
Tomorrow on the other hand, is equally uncertain. No one knows what it holds. The only hope we hold on to are only the predictions and the possibility of the outcome of our actions today . It is up in the air, neither is it promised. The thought of its uncertainty alone is too much weight to carry. Worrying about tomorrow has no influence on it. Worrying only makes our today miserable, unproductive and eventually wasted.
We only have control of our today. What we do today can contribute to our tomorrow. Making the best possible use of today is the only sure way to be certain of how tomorrow may go.
Bible Verse Inspo - Matthew 6:25-31
26 Look at the birds. They don’t plant or harvest or store food in barns, for your heavenly Father feeds them. And aren’t you far more valuable to him than they are? 27 Can all your worries add a single moment to your life?
28 “And why worry about your clothing? Look at the lilies of the field and how they grow. They don’t work or make their clothing, 29 yet Solomon in all his glory was not dressed as beautifully as they are. 30 And if God cares so wonderfully for wildflowers that are here today and thrown into the fire tomorrow, he will certainly care for you.
